Well, really what sets us apart from other practices and why patients should come here is because we really reach out to patients and try to include them as a family member in our practice. We would like to treat our patients as we want our families treated, as if they're going to a dentist somewhere else, and that really starts out from the beginning. The way we have a conversation with you, the way we listen to you, the way we schedule your time to come in and and get to know you a little bit first so you can relax a little bit so we can understand really what you need, and then at some point when we've reached that point and we understand each other a little better, I understand you more as a patient, then I'm able to give you the best care, and you'll understand it.

You'll have less anxiety, fear, whatever pace you want to go forward with the treatment, everybody's different. Everybody gets a customized plan. Our office philosophy and our team values really revolve around our mission statement, which is really comprehensive care, which starts with a comprehensive exam. That's the beginning of comprehensive best care. What that really means is we come in and we get to know you. We have a complete examination. We have plenty of time scheduled, so we're not rushed. We get to understand your needs, understand your fears or obstacles, all those things that really are going on inside your head. Most people don't like to come to the dentist, so we're here to help you overcome a lot of those anxieties with this comprehensive look at things, a complete exam, all the records we can really look and understand your medical history, your dental history, look at the things that are going on and our philosophy, really comprehensively means we can provide you with predictability, with comfort, with excellence, and give you some treatment options as we can.

I needed a new dentist. I had had maybe three different dentists over 25, 30 years, and dentists are dentists, right? I'm calling around, calling around, and I get ahold of Lucy, who works for Dr. Burgess. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to have somebody who actually cared, made time out of the schedule, realized that I needed to see somebody right away. I thought, "Wow, I'm hooked just on the front desk," because that doesn't happen normally.

When I came in, this was the office that I came to, everybody was just really helpful. It was a nice place, they made you feel comfortable, which was a different feeling from the other dentist office I had been in. The next 10

years or so, I guess, I've been here – it could be a little bit more – but Dr. Burgess has replaced old fillings for me, he has done crowns for me, checked my bite, which was the most important thing. Over time, with the different dentistry and different, I guess, different surfaces in my mouth, my bite had become malaligned, so I was waking up every morning with severe headaches, to the point where it was affecting my neck, my shoulder, and I was not a pleasant person to be around in the morning.

When Dr. Burgess recommended realigning my bite, he actually went in and looked at every single tooth and how it fit in my mouth and how it fit together, and he was just very patient with me. In the end, I ended up not having any more pain. He also fitted me for a night guard because I clench my teeth at night, and that causes some jaw pain, so I've got a night guard now, and that's been very, very helpful. Kind of a success story. Found the right dentist.

There's so many great things about getting my dental work done here. One is Dr. Burgess is very good at what he does, and he's very professional. He is almost a perfectionist, and I think he's in a great job to be a perfectionist because I want my teeth to look great. You spend the time, the effort, the money to get that perfect smile, and Dr. Burgess has done that. I've always felt comfortable that he would get everything where it needed to be. Second, his staff. I have never met anyone or worked with anyone in this office that wasn't professional, good at their work, comforting when you need to be comforted. I've had my hand held. Like, when you have a tooth pulled or something.

And compassionate. Compassionate people. That's important when you're working in somebody's mouth. Those would probably be the two things. I think we all have fears when we're coming to the dentist for various situations. I still don't like needles in my mouth, but I know it's probably not gonna hurt because it just doesn't. Dr. Burgess has it down to where he can make that injection and start getting you numb and you start to relax. I don't worry about it anymore. In fact, I enjoy coming to the dentist, as crazy as that might sound. I do, I enjoy seeing the staff and people working here. Of course, Dr. Burgess. And I know when I leave here, I'm gonna have a great smile.

I love coming to this practice because everyone here is so friendly. They get the job done so fast. There's no waiting time, and every time I come in here, they get me right on back so quickly, and I love that. That's very important. The level of care I get here is beyond excellent. I would say everyone has smiling faces, and that's really important to me. Nothing's awkward because when people are in your mouth, they don't ... nothing's awkward. Everyone here just makes jokes, they laugh, and that makes me feel very comfortable and welcoming.

Dr. Burgess to me is so friendly, and he's very personable. He's very honest, and I really like that about a dentist. His staff is amazing. He's done really wonderful with teaching his staff. Since I was little, I've been coming here, so I actually haven't gone to other practices. I've actually referred so many people to this place because of the friendly environment and because they are so personable, so I really do like that about them. Every time they do come into the room, they give me upfront knowledge of what they're about to do, and that is extremely important, especially if it's being done to me, especially with more things than just teeth cleaning. I already know the process of that, but they go in and reassure me in everything they're doing, which is really good.

If you were looking for a dentist and wanted to find a good dentist in this area, I would highly recommend Dr. Larry Burgess. Larry is very personable. He not only looks at you as a patient but also as an individual. He likes to get to know his patients and his clients and their families, and he spends a little bit of time just talking to you about how things are going for you in your life. And that's very nice, because we're all very busy these days, and for someone that has a great practice like Dr. Burgess does, to take the time in order to get to know you and understand the history of your dental procedures that you had in the past, and to learn more about your family and yourself, it becomes much more of a personal experience.

His staff is always very nice to work with, are very accommodating, and consequently, you enjoy coming to the dentist for a change, not like most of the time, when you really hate going to the dentist.
