Dr. Burgess began his work in the dental field as an encore career. He was first a successful engineer, but he was looking for something else. He is proud to have studied personally with several masters of dentistry, including Gordon Christensen, Peter Dawson, Ross Nash, Jim Pride, and Bill Dickerson.
Dr. Burgess has completed continuums at The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the Pankey Institute, the Peter Dawson Institute, the United States Dental Institute, and the Misch International Implant Institute. He is also a graduate of Pride Institute’s masters program.

His commitment to service has also taken him to the Central American country of Belize. He traveled there in 1996, 2001, and 2003 to do dental mission work as part of the Belize Mission Project. He has served on the board of directors for the Central American Mission Projects.
Patients love Dr. Burgess and his team because we treat our patients with compassion, dignity, and respect. We meet them where they are with their oral health. We help them achieve the best oral health they desire. We take the time to listen to their needs and concerns and get to know them before we begin to discuss teeth. This helps them relax and makes it easier to accomplish getting their best health. The best part of Dr. Burgess’s day is creating a new smile, seeing the patient’s reaction, and seeing the patient’s confidence level improve.
